These terms apply to leadhoundapi (leadhoundapi.com), including the website, REST API, MCP server, public market previews, verified free market proof, supervised paid pilots, legacy Signals calls, and related account services.

Service

leadhoundapi provides lead intelligence from public business signals. Outputs may include business names, public contact details, market summaries, derived evidence, scores, and suggested outreach angles. The service does not provide legal advice, compliance advice, or a guarantee that any business intends to buy a product or service.

Accounts And Access

You are responsible for activity under your account, API keys, OAuth clients, and connected tools.
You must keep credentials secure and revoke keys that may be exposed.
We may limit, suspend, or disable access to protect the service, enforce plans, prevent abuse, or comply with law.

Customer Compliance

You are responsible for your own outreach, sales process, and use of any exported data. That includes compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, state privacy and telemarketing laws, platform rules, and any consent or suppression-list obligations that apply to your business.

Acceptable Use

Do not use the service to harass, threaten, shame, defame, or target people or businesses unfairly.
Do not republish raw review text or reviewer names from leadhoundapi outputs. Use derived evidence and your own human-reviewed wording.
Do not claim that public evidence proves private intent, a purchase decision, financial distress, or any non-public fact about a business.
Do not overload the service, bypass rate limits, resell access as a raw data dump, or use the service to build a directly competing raw review database.
Do not use the service for unlawful discrimination, regulated credit, employment, housing, insurance, or eligibility decisions.

Public Signals And Accuracy

Outputs are based on public signals, third-party sources, cached data, and derived scoring. They can be incomplete, stale, or wrong. You must review outputs before outreach or business decisions. Evidence is a targeting aid, not guaranteed intent.

Payments And Refunds

Coverage plans are billed as subscriptions through Stripe under the plan description shown at purchase. Where self-serve checkout is not yet enabled for a plan, purchases run as supervised pilots under a written pilot agreement, which governs if it conflicts with this section. Developer API credit purchases, bulk discounts, and auto top-up are unavailable.

Fair-start refund: the first month may be refunded on request only if the account made no successful value-consuming scan, API or MCP call, completed or partial job, or export. Free verification, public market previews, and account setup never count against refund eligibility. Cancelling stops future billing, and access continues to the end of the paid period.

Business Opt-out And Corrections

A business may request correction, suppression, or removal from customer-facing outputs by emailing [email protected]. Include the business name, location, website if available, the requester role, and the requested change. We review requests, may ask for verification, and aim to acknowledge within 7 business days and complete accepted corrections or removals within 30 days.

DMCA And Takedown Contact

Copyright or content takedown notices should be sent to [email protected]. Include enough detail to identify the material, the rights owner, your contact information, and the legal basis for the request.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, abuse, security risk, legal risk, or violation of these terms.

Disclaimers And Liability

The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, leadhoundapi disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities, indirect damages, or customer outreach decisions.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. The updated date above shows the latest version.
